What a shame the nation's football fans were denied the opportunity to see the US men take charge of their South Africa fate. Sure, Honduras are not Brazil or Italy and a visit to San Pedro aint exactly like a trip to Mexico City. However, Honduras was in the mix to qualify and no one else in WC Qualifying had managed to win in Honduras. Moreover, a loss would have meant that the US must get a result against Costa Rica.
Judging by the highlights a day later TalkFootball/eusa_wall.gif TalkFootball/eusa_wall.gif Bradley's men appear to have attacked from the outset. It was also great to see the emergence of yet another viable striking option in Conor Casey. He is big, strong, good in the area and - while he's not always a graceful finisher, he can get the ball in the net (dare I say in the mold of Heskey TalkFootball/fishing.gif).

Just hope that the momentm holds and the US can avoid a bad draw.
