This Sunday at Columbus Crew stadium the USA will face Grenada in the first CONCACAF World Cup qualifier match.

Two things to note are that two players on the US squad can reach some milestones. First Landon Donavon will be the youngest player to reach 50 caps for the US squad. Second Kasay Keller can set the all-time wins record for US goalkeepers with a victory in the match.

Great performance. The score could easily have been 6-0. The U.S. really demonstrated maturity when they didn't appear frustrated by missed opportunities. Beasly gets better each time I see him play. I only wish he would eat his veggies. The lad wouldn't stand a chance in a heavy wind storm.

Well done U.S., now let's put all question of qualifying to rest by keeping up the pressure.

Good observations RY. From what I understand a 3-0 result is the best the US final score in regards to FIFA rankings and so forth. A friend of mine was telling me that anything more like a 5-0 or 6-0 result will be reduced to 3-0 when the rankings are calculated. All in all a very good result for the men!
