Steve McClaren has finally shown what he's made of and recalled David Beckham, proving that he's pretty much a media puppet. after the World Cup the media says 'Beckham must go! Beckham must go! he's past it! forget about him...' so Beckham was gone - now it's 'Beckham's world class, his form is excellent, Beckham should be in the squad!' - and guess what? he is!
I think it's a major blow to Aaron Lennon and a blow for England moving onto new things. Beckham's done his time, why is he back now? can't England beat Estonia without him? are they that worried?!
apart from that, there's a couple of surprise inclusions, Shorey of Reading's had a good season, Bentley's done well for Blackburn. fair play to both of them...
