Dons hand trial to Czech striker
Czech striker Lubomir Blaha has arrived for a week-long trial with Aberdeen.
The 26-year-old was a target for Dons manager Jimmy Calderwood last summer before the player decided to stay at Slovan Liberec.
"I haven't seen him play yet so it's great to get him for a week on trial," Calderwood told the club website.
"I'm not sure of the whole situation but there appears to have been some sort of fall-out at Liberic and he is a free agent now."
Apparently he'll be joining in the summer if he does well in training this week. We need another striker and this lad could fit the bill perfectly, especially if, as expected, Fernando Pasquinelli is given the boot in the summer.
