Franz Ferdinands la-*test*-('") single taken from the second album "You could have it so much better".

what do you lads make of the single? this album is supposedly going to have the same impact on music as the highly rated debut album from the scottish four-piece.

Do you think this album will live upto the last one?

Im really looking forward to the album, if i can believe what i read in nme its going to be great. Im seeing them live in november and Editors and The Rakes are supporting who i both saw live last week and cant wait to see again.

I'm not sure if NME is the best possible source for recommendations, but I'm looking forward to hearing the new album. I've heard the new single just once and even though I wasn't that impressed with the song(it was ok, but nothing special), I'll certainly check out the new album. The debut was a good pop record and I'm hoping the second one is too.

It's a brilliant song, but does sound like ELO's 'Don't Bring Me Down'.

The first album was brilliant they will have toruble topping it.

ELO...? Hmmm...perhaps you're right...to me it kind of sounded like it could've been a B-side for a Pulp single from the 'Different Class' era... TalkFootball/altwave.gif

I heard a demo of the album and it sounds good. it has a bigger atmosphere than the debut album.
