You could find a fair argument, especially if you look at Leeds and Spurs form since Poyet left. However, injuries to key players and the loss of the fitness edge we had at the start of the season have caused Leeds probs. Not that we would be that worried if there wasn't a 15 point deduction.

I said when Gus Poyet left Leeds that he was a footballing genius. How right was I? His post-match interviews have been priceless at times.

As a player Poyet was superb, and from what I've read the players are responding to him as an assistant manager/coach out on the field. Can't fault the lad's enthusiasm.
