I think everyone (apart from Watford and Blackburn fans) wanted the two results to come out as they did.

Hopefully we should now have a great final in a great stadium.

I had a nasty feeling Blackburn were gonna cause a shock ............. and they very nearly did. What a save from Cech from Terry's header!!! TalkFootball/35.gif

How Samba missed the header at the end of the 1st half and how Pederson missed his header at 1-1 I'll never know and he hit the post with another header. Cech made some good saves though, all credit for the save from Terry

I fooking didn't. A Chelsea v Man Utd Final is just too predictable. Where is the romance? Where is the underdog we can all support. I bloody hate Chelsea, and would have been delighted at a Blackburn win...I would even rather see Robbie Savage pick up an FA Cup winners medal than see those smug Chelski tossers get another trophy.

And Watford...plucky little Watford...I'd have been over the moon if they had beaten Manc.

A depressing end to a depressing season.

unfortunately not since everton in 1995 has a club outside the 'big four' so to speak won the FA cup...

that scenario doesn't look like changing soon either ?

At least last year we had West Ham give a bloody good go though.
