I find him the most frustrating cricketer ever. He is so talented, but so inconsistent.

The state of West Indian cricket was summed up by his last innings. Being run out by Marlon Samuels in a suicidal run.

But, that all said - when he was on form he was unstoppable.

Seemed to save his best for England too. Though he has scored runs against all nations. Though Gayle is outstanding the West Indies do seem short on quality batsmen now.

I'd be glad to se Gayle out of the team. He is so divisive. Actually the whole setup needs to be sorted. We need someone with authority. Michael Holding, Malcolm Marshall, Viv Richards and Clice Lloyd have all given up with them because they won't take direction and play without "belly fire" TalkFootball/giggle[1].gif

Sorry, Simpsons fans will know what I'm talking about

An absolute cricketing legend. Unfortunately for him he came to his peak when the standard of cricket in the Windies was in freefall.

Maybe he can now spend more time chatting up birds in nightlcubs with his best buddy Dwight.

Too right.

And they're not fussy either. Which is very insulting, I told one of them to go practice hitting the ball rather than hitting on women.

He saw the funny side of it, then proceeded to tell me how easy it was to get women when you're a famous cricketer. But apparently, things are now going to change. The nucleus of the knocking boots squad is going to be dropped and they are now going to be a lot stricter. My nephew was saying that anyone caught will now be suspended from the team immediately.
