it's easy to say games in hand mean nothing, etc, but there's not a lot you can do about it when your games are called off, for various reasons (cup runs in FA Cup and FA Trophy, and the weather took its toll on our Christmas program) - you just have to win the games when they come around. we've played the least games out of the division, 19 so far out of 42. of the 23 games left, 13 of them are home - as I've stated before, with home games left things are in your own hands, and if you don't win your home games you don't deserve to go anywhere.
at this stage in the season we've only had 6 home games in the league - that's crazy really! our home form is good (won 4 and drawn 2) if we can keep that up we have an excellent chance of promotion.
currently we have lost the same amount of games as top of the table Bath, and they've played 2 games more than us.
if we do get out of the league we're in, we'll be in the Conference South, and just because you, with your limited knowlege of football, haven't heard of it, doesn't mean that everyone's the same, does it?!
