yesterday morning 9.30 am

i know i posted a few months ago about my daughter who is 8 next month and the fact that she started footy training.

well yesterday morning was her first game so at 9.30 me the misses and the 2 girls go over the field the eldest one emma wound up like a clock so the all go in get dressed 10 mins later they all come out in they're kit.

didnt fit any of them mind cos they range from about 4/7 years old, was a bit gutted cos my youngest who is 4 was a bit weary to play, but i will keep her training till she is ready.

first up the under 8's had to shoot of at this time but was back to watch the 6's wich me eldest plays for i know she is 7 but the 8's are quite rough and have played together a few times.

so 10.30 comes they run out on to the field im filling up on the touchline, kick of they all run round like headless chickens chasing the ball. but its about the fun not the winning anyway cut a long story short they lost 4-o. but each and everyone had fun and i enjoyed a nice cold one withe the kids and parents afterwards.

How many a side do they play?

It's great that girls are now getting involved in football at those young ages. Good luck to her and her sister, hope they are both playing in the same team soon.

Was almost in tears myself over football last weekend as well..... well, in fact, I was in tears..... bloody ankle ligaments went mid-match...

at the moment they are playing has many as turn up being so young they just wait for the day and count heads if they are having a pasting then if we have say 2 more or vice versa then they agree to put the extra kids on.

went training with them tonight and my youngest just wont listen TalkFootball/giggle[1].gif keeps going into a world of her own quite funny good job my mate is the coach lmao all fun tho.
